I'm back and forth with this. Melissa is right - 1. IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE, YOU FIGHT FOR THAT PERSON, NO MATTER WHAT LIFE MAY BRING. 2. GETTING ENGAGED FOR THE 1ST TIME IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. Yes, you can get engaged again but he took that experience, that feeling away from her. 3. HE DID IT ON NATIONAL TV!!! But in the real scheme of things Jason is right - 1. YOU CAN'T CONTROL WHO YOU LOVE.
