@LittlJohn And as far as Musicianship if we suck so bad musically why is it we consicutively make ALL superiors at festival and we've done Bands of America, invited by chinese giverment to do National festival of flowers in Beijing, China, our wind ensemble preformed at Georgia music educators ass. in savnnah,US national honor band in troy, alabama, And this year we did the HBCU national band directors consortium and we have over 10million dollars in band schlorships..

@LittlJohn I just saw this one comment and I must say Redan has been blown out by us NUMEROUS years just like SWD and with MLK we blow them out YEARLY at the games. And Columbia??? How can you say they are musically better than us when they are like the sloppiest band in dekalb anly concerned with "waxing". MG is good but we got them at jambo 10. And the rest DO NOT compare.

Think music before band. Never be a band geek or in others words just another band n-word. Be a musician, stay out of the box. Thats one thing I learned at Mays. Not music is not about you nor the people that listen to it. Music is for the world. Remember band not music.

So I'm guessing that you are in college and I know it can't be a good college or if you're in college at all judging by your lack of using correct grammar. I am proud of my school. For the band program, this year no comment. To comment on the band program in recent years, when I was a student we had some of the best musicians in the state. We earned more superiors than Stephenson. Way more since Stephenson was established in 1996. The rest of your comments were ignorant. I refuse to watch videos of Stephenson's band program. I have never in the past and never will. I've seen them live and they are nothing spectacular.

But I'm on another level than you are both mentally and definitely musically. You need to grow up and step up. I could careless about the few accolades that Stephenson has. could careless about the fact that your band directors graduated from FAMU. A great institution, but many other great people have come from that school. I even got a full ride there, but decided not to go because I don't think FAMU could take me to the places I want to go. I am a Mays High School Alumni.

First you're embarrassing your school with your lack of expressing yourself with out crude language, then I tell you to become a musician and get your head out of marching band and Stephenson. There is a bigger world outside of Stephensen High School. I'm sure if your band director saw your comment he wouldn't be very impressed nor proud of the way you are expressing yourself.When I was in high school, which was when I posted my comment I cared about the marching band crap.

@LittlJohn They are now on my favorites, so check it out at shut the fuck up. Stephenson is good , i mean GREAT. Ask anyone at any1 of the high schools what school in the county are about music and musicality it ALWAYS Stephenson,swd and mlk. Because redan and mghs are more of a "marching band" kind of band. Because neither one of them make superiors at festival or sound particulary good during festival but they both have good marching bands.
