What a great find this video was. I too am from Wigston but live near Wakefield (Yorkshire) now. Ahh the memories, seeing all the rush hour traffic that I used to often be stuck in. That bus route was also a regular for me back in the 80's.

Early on in the video in Wigston, where the Macdonalds is now, I recall in the late 70's every year the travelling fairground would set up it was a highlight for us kids back then.

i was born and grew up in leicester i live in south carolina now for 10 years

to come back to this horrible climate in fall to spring in such a seriuos up its arse place would now kill me
