International Karate for the Atari ST (1986): One of the main attractions of the 16bit computer back in the days. It was an exclusive title for the system. Note: Notice the big fists and feet of the characters, Street Fighter third strike and SF4 reminds me of it! :)

  • It's really strange that in this video some points seem to be awarded for no reason... was this a bug or have you skipped some frames? Weird.

BTW I almost bought an ST because of this game, but luckily I waited and got an A1200 :)

  • @zombiemod - well it's just goes straight into a demo, so i guess it happens in that only?... - I almost brought an ST too, like u, i waited and got an A1200 with 200mb pcmcia hd (£200 back in those days!) - later followed by an atari jaguar, which me and a friend waited so long for a 2 player hook up cable (LAN) that i sold it and brought an amiga cd32 later in the year! lol... - those were the days! :)

  • Indeed. Never understood, why IK+ on the Amiga/ST looked so plain next to the graphics of this version of the first game...

  • yeah, this was a still fighting fit games for ST... IK+ was in graphic a step backward...

  • Loved this on the C64. Never knew there was this version.

  • @johnthemanandking Completely agree I have the same problem. I don;t ever remember anything about oposition robes changing colour. It always just seems to be white guy vs red guy.

  • is that white guy having a wank at 4:57

  • Wow, in 1986 this game could have been taken straight into an arcade and nobody would have figured out it was running on a 'home computer'.

  • Had this game one of the best I've played to answer your question John the opponents do increase in difficulty you know cos their tunics change colour to match the karate belts the black dude bein the hardest! Think this is just the demo were watching

  • Does anyone know the answer to this - HOW DO YOU GET TO THE NEXT STAGE IN THIS GAME? It seems that you just fight against the same opponent again and again. However, I've read a review for this game saying that the opponents increase in difficulty. Any ideas?
