@hmeb4drkwins Well she's full blooded thoroughbred. Her tattoo matches her papers. We do a lot of dressage with our horses so they develop a lot of muscle not always seen in the jumper rings unfortunately.

@OTTBloverMEGAN First off thank you! Second yes she is off the track she was sold to a meat buyer for human consumption angel acres bought her from the meat buyer. She was fat and had a shoe embedded in her hoof. She's doing 2'9 jumpers right now. Really? What kind were you looking for I know of one that is for sale by my friend. I take care of grooming him alot.

@OTTBloverMEGAN my boy charlie is 5,hes an amazing jumper though,he can jump 4'2 with me on his back..im 11 btw..hes a good racer too...i love him to death,he looks like this mare but hes slightly taller than the average thoroughbred,17 hands,lean and muscular.his mother and father are pure thoroughbreds to,btw.

@OTTTB aww that's terrible. I kinda rescured my horse. He lived in a muddy pasture and the little barn kids used to throw sticks at him. everyone thought he was physco. My old trainer sold me him for a 1 dollar saying he isn't worth anything (just so they didn't have to pay for him)... he proved them wrong he won every class he went into.

I am looking for a baby around 4. Deffinatly OTTB

They can be very good jumpers. They are just as a general rule really hot horses with lots of energy. You may like a tb cross. I've seen lots of different breeds used for jumpers. With tbs they are very fast and usually jump carefully. I'd say look at the horse's personality and conformation. But def in the rights hands tbs make great jumpers! They just are difficult to deal with sometimes. My horse is on depo so she doesn't come into heat. She works much better on it.

So, thoroughbreds make for good jumpers? I've been looking for the right breed, that's cheap enough(or one I can lease). I doubt I'll have a Holstein anytime soon. T_T But I thought, maybe a mustang would be good, but I've heard thoroughbreds are good jumpers, what's your advice?

mines the same she is listed as "bay" on her passport, but especially in winter she is black beauty lol :) she even has a star on her forehead :)
