  • I'm on my way to Amazon to purchase your book. Very curious to see if it's even possible to organize against an industry in which a single company has $40 billion in excess cash to batter consumer groups with.

Loved the lecture. I'm a San Franciscan so I'm also looking forward to hearing you speak on the current state of Obama's term in office.

At this point I'm just hoping he can avoid the same misunderstood legacy Carter has faced.

  • Watch this y tube vid. "Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies and the Automotive Industry"

Battery vs gallon of gasoline 92:1. Volt batt has 16 kw-hr, 8 usable... 1 gallon elec. is 36 kw-hr. Volt batt weight 420 lbs and is 8/36= 0.22 gallons.

Electric cars are about 70% from plug to wheel. Grid is 33%. 0.7*.33= 0.23 or 23%, or about what a car on the highway is.

    Electricity at $0.07/kw-hr * 36 kw-h/gallon = $2.52/gallon. In Calif. $0.40/kw-hr = $16/gallon! Ouch! Now you know why..

  • it works on electricity and uses much less than what the current hybreed electric car uses so it is much more efficient than the gasoline car motor. it was in one of the activists shows like alex jones, they said that engine was already registered in copyright and bought by one of the car companies. but they bought it just so they could sit on it and not build it since they own it. you should research the internet maybe google key words and then it is copyrighted so you can lol at the drawings.

  • @mayabelldotcom Please show me or explain to me what such an engine is. Serious. I am working full time on technology that can get 60% eff at all times, not 13% as most cars do on average (<10% city, 20-25% highway). GE gets 60% eff with their "combined cycle" electric p. plants... Just need it to fit in car...

My engine will run on solar, wind, wood pellets, coal pellets, liquid and gaseous carbon fuels, and an electric battery... No monopoly fuel for my engine... o more control....

  • can you tell me what she is saying. she talks so slow and not getting to the point. most of these people are under some special interest pay roll. is she complaining about the price of oil for an hour and a half? what about issues as oil causing pollution and using alternative energies?

  • I got news for you, such a motor was made and the US auto industry bought the technology which is copyrighted. But the auto industry won't produce this engine because it will completely reduce oil use in automobiles as the engine uses little electricity, much less than the hybreed cars made today.

  • To cut 90% of the fuel out, you don't need "activism" or any such thing. You need a motor that can get 60% efficiency (min) at all times. Cars are 10% city 20% highway...get 60%, you get 3x and 6x. Add in solar during parking...90% of fuel gone. Add to house...even more. You solve the problem with engineering, NOT socialistic nonsense. Get 60% and your hated Bush...is out of business. Wake up chick...you are clueless...
