It began with one Sheriff speaking with other Sheriffs about their oaths to uphold the constitution. A new movement is growing in this country in support of limited government, constitutional principles, states rights and a stronger role for sheriffs to play against federal abuse of power. In this 3-part video interview with Tony DeMeo, Sheriff of Nye County, Nevada, he explains that he is a Constitutional Sheriff and that authority for public office holders is derived from the people:

In his own words Sheriff Tony DeMeo describes an incident where federal agents of the BLM threaten him with arrest while the Sheriff issues his own threats of an armed response if illegal seizures of private property in his county continue. Imagine if BLM authorities went ahead with their "normal" operations of seizing cattle found on public property in direct opposition to Sheriff Tony DeMeo warnings? We would witness a standoff with dire consequences.

  • feds vs. states

  • The move of preventing abuse of power is good. But the strict Constitutionalist agenda will lead to the effective break-up of the United States into 50 little countries with their own laws on everything from A-Z. Deprived of equality of levels of service across the whole country, people will migrate from the poor states with fewer, more expensive services to the rich states with more and cheaper services......until border controls go into place to restrict such movements.

  • GOOD !! It's about damn time. Now , have the localities grow balls and enforce immigration law when the feds wont and kick the feds out of our localities. We dont want the fed money or their agents.

  • @kellerr13 Yes but only with a court order signed by a Federal Judge. The presiding Federal Judge had found the cattle owner/rancher was using the land for exclusively normal cattle ranching as required by the mutually agreed terms of the Lease which is possibly a 99 year or100 year Land Lease that was granted& signed by the Department Of The Interior which allows the BLM to only administer/manage the Leased land. BLM was politically pressured to cite normal ranching "irregularities"

  • One question of law VOIDS Thousands of Foreclosures ... watch?v=8LCPuLcCwTQ&noredirect=1

  • @HAL9000Intelligence If the land is not being used in accordance to the terms of the lease, then the BLM can contact the Sheriff and start Eviction procedures according to law.

  • The Sheriff is an elected official and is not subject to the will or oderss of the President, or the Governor (in most states).

The Sheriff works directly for his constituents and serves as a check and balance against a tyrany.

    Support your local Sheriff.

  • yessssssssssss CIVIL WARRRR! Im down for it. I will not fight in the middle east but I am so willing to start ripping these fuckers heads off that are ruining our country.

  • Posse Comitatus: The county sheriff is the highest recognized lawfull authority.

Local law enforcement is the best enforcement.

Federal law is just a form of tyranny.

  • Much respect officer
