Michael Moore speech on fiction, given during Oscar ceremony

Michael Moore, several years in advance of the public airing of the fictitious reality of the justification for the war. However as the idea of a narrative in political dialogue once more takes pride of place, see Communism or Fascism, is it surprising that political parties increasingly engage in whole scale fiction allied to a sense of political "mission".

Interestingly though the first term of Bush was perhaps pushed through with a dubious vote total, the second election of Bush though done in a campaign undertaken with extreme prejudice toward the idea of fair play, provided a result that was much less contentious. Could it be possible that the attacks of Michael Moore succeeded in alienating a percentage of the populace with its sense of Hollywood elitism?
Though obviously the term Hollywood glamour can be used as and when needed.

@iloveneytiri You make a valid point, and all I can say is you're right. Hitchens and Dawkins are definitely great examples. I guess now we'll have to wait and see how he proceeds. However, even if he doesn't ever go past what he's done so far, I'll still have loads of respect for him.

I don't agree at all with most things that Moore says (about economics anyways), but I do respect the fact that he has good intentions and is trying to stand up to a very evil, corrupt system
