This is a video I created for my Academy Communications class off a song I wrote and recorded. The song is entitled Jenga Love. It is from the (Trendsettaz) album Spinacholympics
Cast:
Ross Prajzner: Himself, singer
Kaity Andrey: Stoopid Gurl #1
Dan Hatton: Himself, guitar
D.J. Moore: Himself, (Stoopid Gurl #2), drums, backup vocals
Justin Liss: Mike Malloy, bass (as played by Dan Hatton)
Jake Agaliata: (Trendsettaz) Fan
And here's lyrics to follow/sing along with or for if you miss anything:
Count me in.
5, 6, 5, 6, 7, 8.
You can be my Milton, I will be your Bradley, "Gladly," you'll hear me say.
But this ain't just a game, and I don't just wanna play.
It's Ellefun- yea, hella fun- getting into Trouble but this is real Life,
And I tried to be careful, not hit your sides with the knife.
It's a tight Operation, if you know what i mean.
I'm trying to Break the Ice, not to Spill the Beans.
And now my tower is fallin', high from above.
So let me tell you somethin' 'bout my Jenga Love.
(Chorus):
Jenga Love
Tryna pick up the pieces girl,
Jenga Love
Cause you tore me apart.
Jenga Love
We were havin so much fun,
Jenga Love
Then you went straight for my heart.
Guess Who. That's right. It's me.
Maybe, I can help you jog your Memory.
I thought it was as easy as 1, 2, 3.
But when I tried to Connect Four, you shattered my dreams.
You had my Monopoly, it subsidized.
Yea, it Twistered around and it Boggled my mind.
Now my tower is fallin', high from above.
So let me say somethin' gurl; "Jenga Love!"
Chorus
I thought it was cool but it was a Mouse Trap.
It wasn't Candy Land. It was a pile of crap.
Now my words look like Scrabble cause I have none to describe it.
You called it Perfection but that had a lie in it.
B4, baby, when you sunk my Battleship,
Shoulda known it was bad when Hungry Hippos weren't eatin' it.
Now my tower- fallin'- high above.
Something, something, something, something- Jenga Love!
Chorus
Opened the Barrel of Monkeys, fun nonstop?
No it was Chutes and Ladders, always down and up.
I chanced Yahtzee but I lost the game.
When the dice came down we just weren't the same.
So to you I say, "Bye Ho! Cherry-o."
I can find another player just to set up Stratego.
Tower- fallin'- high- above-
Somethin'- somethin'- JENGA LOVE!
Chorus x 2
wait, you wrote this?
thats awesome

this is an excellent song and great film. EXTREMELY clever!!! visuals coinciding with lyrics was brilliant! Very fun to watch.
5 star
Critique:
Be sure to accurately match audio with visuals. the guitar was blatantly mismatched.
and being alone in the cafeteria with some of the lights turned out made it extremely staged. I don't know if that was your intent, but It seemed out of place with the other relationship shots.

Thanks-
and I agree with pretty much all of your points.
I do plan to probably redo most of the audio and also spend more time syncing it all up. For the Cafeteria scene, I guess you just have to pretend it's after school and they're just there (like it actually was). For that scene I originally planned to get extras and have it be in a class room. There just wasn't enough time. Again, thanks for commenting :)
