Shallow water hybrid fishing in the bushes on Cooper Lake, Texas. Visit www.CooperLakeGuide.net for info. Feb 29th 2008. Fish were caught on swim baits and Lake Fork's magic shad. It's about 2.5 minutes long...a quick over view of the day. I am not sure how many we caught (somewhere between 50-70?) but, there were a few other boats in the area and they were all catching fish 2 and 3 at a time from 4.5-7lbs!! It doesn't get much better than that.

  • we were fishing with Lake Fork's magic shad, it is a plastic bait and they were rigged on a jig head. Lake Fork is a bait company(and a lake)

  • You are reeling in too fast. You also set the hook too hard. Very dangerous the way you set the hook. Fishing would more enjoyable if you just relax some and reel it in slower. I hate it when I see people set the hook too hard and reel it in too fast.

  • you have to reel in the slack!

  • Do these hybrids school like white bass do or are they more solitary?

  • why you reeling so fast man.....enjoy the fight, instead of being an impatient yuppie.

  • search live magic shad theres a vid

  • how did u rig the shad
