Amiga CD32 : Banshee - Short Gameplay Clip

(洋風シューティングゲーム)

A verticall-scrolling shoot 'em up from the old school, with similarities to games like 1942 and SWIV. There are lots of big, brash enemy vehicles to take on, plus individual soldiers (these often lie in a pool of blood afterwards, a gruesome sight making full use of AGA graphics) and civilians. Many of the enemies have good hiding places and can emerge surprisingly, Commando-style.

There are four large levels, which also scroll a small amount horizontally, the idea being that you can evade some opposition. There's a special loop-the-loop type feature available, which can double as an attack or an evasive move.

Banshee was an awsome showcase for the a1200, super smooth high detailed graphics, fast gameplay, good weather effects long levels. AWsome game.

At first glance this looks like a bitmap brothers game. The graphics are so alike, but I know Dan Malone didn't do 'em.

Yes, I had this one too - it was one of the few decent games on the CD32 with awesome graphics for the time. They were a lot smoother and clearer than in this video - deffo worth tracking down. I'm sure this on the 1200 too

Though I've never owned a CD32 (one of the few consoles I haven't owned in collectin), this looks like reason enough to try to track down a console!
