  • Hi Mary. Thanks for sharing all these videos for free, you are so generous. I am teaching economics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America, and I would like to make my own videos. I´ve watched the usefull tutorial for screener. But I have some doubts with this kind of videos. 1st question How do you make those funny and nice drawings? Do you use a pencil, markers and then scan them? Once you have things scanned do you use wind mov make ? Thank you again. PS: nice voice

  • @juampitrento I draw them on blank index cards (yes - markers, pens, pencils - whatever works), then scan the entire stack with a receipt scanner (much faster than a flatbed scanner). I record the audio with the free Audacity download, then put everything together in Windows Move Maker.

  • Indeed I do create the drawings myself... time-consuming, but fun!

  • i laughed so hard at 3:56 !!!

who would do that and be smiling??? lmfaoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • how did you know i was starting economics this semester? :O

  • If by "self interest" you mean fulfilling ones own want or objectives then no, I can't think of any choice that could be intended that is not "self interested". This does not, however, mean that you are the only object you can have an interest in. You can be interested in fulfilling your own wants or in fulfilling the wants of others. In the latter case, fulfilling the want the other is now your want, but the want of the other is most certainly still the objective of that want.

  • Have AP MacroEcon final tomorrow, this is really helpful! Thank you!!

  • But doesn't the economic self-interest of the Capitalist allow to the poor to obtain the scarce resources that the wealthy can only afford previously? I am referring to Adam Smith's "Invisible Hand."

  • thumbs up if rennie made you go on this

  • you're an angel. thank you.
