I think Jhonen is a Metal Gear Solid fan.
Because on his Twitter he's uploaded pictures of random boxes of action figures he owns. And he says that every one of the boxes have a Psycho Mantis action figure in them.
If that's true it's not unreasonable to believe that he's a fan of the series.
So with the episode this track is featured in having an emphasis on mechs and robot battle suits and this tracks title being "Gear Fight" it may not be a coincidence.

@Trooperman567 didnt they make new episodes? idk, whatever, doesnt matter. Regardless, the last time it was run on TV is the bench mark for a video game, not when the show stopped making episodes.
