  • @bostonfan1595..Secondly, L.A. is home to not one but two collegiate athletic powerhouses in the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans…The Bruins having the official title as having the best men’s collegiate basketball program of all time and the Trojans having one of the top football programs in history…

  • @bostonfan1595...one need not forget that in the last 40 years the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles county and the greater Los Angeles area has produced more professional athletes than any other urban area in the entire nation…bottom line is that the high school or prep sports in L.A. is phenomenal, L.A. kids are studs, the best in America… on a roots level it's fair to state that LA is a sports mecca....

  • @bostonfan1595....

i've never denied that on the PRO level, Boston and the New England area is home to iconic pro franchises...the Celtics, Bruins, Sox and in the last decade the Pats, are winners, earning multiple championships in every pro sport...you Boston fans should be very proud, indeed...!

but where a sports region like and greater LA area differs from NEngland, is that it also excels on not only the pro level, but collegiate and high school (prep)...

  • @conni70 you can say that about any city in america theres a little sumthing called a draft which drafts college athletes to pro teams in every sport ...atleast you make smart decisions in the draft and trades during the season your city will be dominant which boston has clearly demonstrated....and alot of bostonian athletes go to colleges all over the country so u cant say that new england doesnt raise and produce athletes

  • thumbs up for snow angel at 1:01

  • @bruins3331...did you not read my previous comments, correctly? i stated that the N. England area produces hockey players, but that's pretty much it... and i know BC and BU have elite hockey programs... but again, in the 3 major pro sports, NFL, NBA and MLB, the Boston and N. England area doesn't excel at producing pro athletes... but the city or region that has produced the most pro athletes the last 50 years, is Los Angeles, and the greater Los Angeles area...

  • BOSTON = TITLETOWN

  • @conni70 how come bc hockey wins practically every year?

  • Boston = Titletown, gfscarface13 = Yan-ker fan / jealous
