NS 318 finally getting on the mover after stopping at Staunton for flooding. Notice that NS 9527 has a K5LLA!!!!!!!! Very rare! Something must of happened to the K5LA. No major flooding to the route so they are okayed to go.

  • Yep. :) Thank you for pointing that out. One of my best comments ever.

  • Actually, it does sounds like there is a 1L bell on there (it's reversed). So they took the 5 bell off probably because it went bad and stuck a 1L bell on there because the horn people at NS are retards.

  • K5LLA, I got a close look.

  • I just wanted to hear the horn.

  • It's a newer K5LLA, using the new single piece die cast 1L bell and plays C, D#, F#, G#, B (No Octave) The new die cast 1L bells play C natural and the older sand cast two-piece bells play B natural. -- Nick O'Dell

  • I caught NS D9-40CW 9672 yesterday & it deff has a k5lla! Just like the bnsf/ kcs ACes have. Loud check it out man.

  • i dont know why but i love engines that smoke like that and sound like that

  • Sounds like the tune of K5LLA that the KCSM SD70ACe´s are equipped...greetings and nice vid!

  • @smitty3964 umm are you crazy yes you are that is defanitly not a s5t

  • Its Sounds Like a P5 Horn.

  • You got to love the K5LLA

  • A normal NS K5LA has bells 5, 3a, 1, 2, and 4a, generally with the 2 and 4a reversed. The hybrid version replaces the 3a with a standard 3 bell. While there is a 1L bell on 9527, it just doesn't sound totally like a K5LLA, it has a bit of Canadian to it, making me think there is a 3 bell and not a 3a bell on it. I could be wrong, but I really don't care enough to find out.
