I just love your videos. You have inspired me!

well ive got to say youll love it when you do ride bareback bridless. expessially at a near gallop. But be careful when you do cause who knows if your horse will throw a buck! ive been thrown many times and broke my shoulder after jonny spooked at a kid on a bike. other then when i get hurt, i get back on and RIDE ON!

Very nice! What a gentle, mellow but engaged partnership you have with Mel. You're lucky to have him and he's lucky to have you. :) Best wishes on your journey!

Thank you Jackie. Both me and Mellie are a lot more mellow now than we were when we first found each other; both mine and Mel's confidence is higher now so we don't spend so much time getting frustrated.

wow thats cool! I have a 10 year old Quarter horse gelding. Ive had him for about 3 years now. got him as a christmas present. Im really not that far with parelli, only level 1 going on level 2, but i can ride with only a savvy string around his neck!

Thats the same as me and Mel, we passed our level one about 6 months ago, we hope to pass our level two ground skills this year. but our riding still isn't our strong point, but saying that i'd never really ridden before buying Mel. It is my dream to ride bare back and bridless so riding with a savvy string would be so cool. i've just started a bit of bareback only at walk and trot but it is great fun.
