i had to make a 3 day trip once. after that i went prepared. no underwear, no socks, just shorts an undershirt i could collect the sweat in and change daily, under a shirt,to eat, korean dried fish, nori, rice crackers, instant tea in a canteen and essentials to do a good wash down during layovers. i also took something to read and listen to. except for the screeching illegal alien babies and the threatening meth addict ex-con across the aisle it went ok on the way back. gotta plan ahead.
This is funny. I live in Canada, and to be honest, I have never had real issues with greyhound at all. You just sit back, and listen to your iPod and maybe try and get some sleep. He's right about not being able to sleep on the bus. But other than that, my Greyhound trips have rather uneventful. The only thing that ever happened on my bus trip was in 2000, going thru Jasper, Alberta, a hawk of some sort flew right in front of the Bus and POOF, all I saw was flying feathers. lol :)
I agree... Greyhound is horrible!!!! In Mexico bus transportation is offered by several companies.... coach (ever better than Greyhound), first class, bussines class and Luxury First.... just look at youtube "Llega de Lujo, llega ADO Platino" and check the big difference how the mexicans travel around the country by bus...
@1969Gigi in 10 years from now, If you live in California and you only travel within the state of C.A. you don't need to travel Greyhound any more, because California is going to have High speed train wich would travel up to 220 MPH going from L.A. to San Fransisco.
@josephdupont I agree, its like going to county Jail, the bus stinks, there stinky people, and the seats are not as confortable as the seats on South West airlines Boeing 737.
