The Forager's Harvest Video
A Video Guide To Identifying, Harvesting, and Preparing Edible Wild Plants

Drawing upon a lifetime of experience with edible wild plants, Samuel Thayer shares his in-depth knowledge of foraging with authority, enthusiasm, and humor. This video covers 32 plants -- with tips on where to find them, how to identify them, their season of harvest, and their methods of collection and preparation. With over 3 hours of video instruction covering 58 edible portions of the plants, The Forager's Harvest is an invaluable resource for wild food enthusiasts of all experience levels.

In this video companion to the very popular book of the same title, you'll be swept away with Sam's passion for wild edibles, and see first hand, aspects of the plants in a way that only a video can provide!

  • Where can i get the full production??

  • <3 Samuel Thayer.

  • I was unaware there was a video, but I have a copy of the book that I just picked up. I appreciate all the great color photos. Looks like the video brings it to life, and you can sure see his enthusiasm for plants there and in the book. Most people would be scared to death to eat plants from anywhere but a garden, farmers market or grocery store. It's incredible what's out there if you know where to look. This is a new hobby I'm starting, and it looks like it'll be challenging but fun.

  • Can't wait to see the whole thing!
