Chicago Hilton Islamic Conference Protesters 2009

This is a short video of some of the protesters that were standing around the Oak Lawn Hilton on Sunday 7-19-09. I am a 20 year old male born and raised as a Patriotic United States Catholic Eagle Scout who enjoys country music and the White Sox. I happen to be studying the Arabic language and culture . I attended the conference to listen to some of the talks. Although they did propose their ideas for an economic policy using the ideas present in Islam there were no terrorist or threatening proposals. They were actually very peaceful and welcoming. One man even stated that Muslims need to make a stand and show the world that the those committing terrorist acts in the name of Islam and Allah are wrong. Now although I believe that Capitalism is the best economic policy that a country can adopt I do not believe that discussing other alternatives makes them crazy terrorists going to Hell. I can not vouch for the groups history or background because I've heard many rumors on the internet and on TV that may or may not be true. All I'm trying to say is we can hold true to our patriotic American and even Catholic roots without shouting profanities and insults to those whose ideas differ from our own. Listening to the talks and proposing legitimate questions would be a much more sensible thing in which to partake.

I personally spoke with the General Manager of that Hilton. They are not legally allowed to deny access to the ballroom because of their opinions on the religion. If they broke contract they would have been going against the constitution and would have ended up with a huge lawsuit. Lets celebrate America's great freedoms to be able to protest and have conferences for or against our ideas. God Bless America!

Well, I dont blame them for being angry. The Hilton is letting these terrorist have a conference in there hotel. Witch means that the hilton dont give a shit about what happened on 911 and that they would be willing to do business with satan if they had to. Well, me and my family will boycott the hilton for the rest of our lives, shame on them.
