jamie Spencer is a great judge of pace when riding from the front, his rides on Cape Blanco in America last year and F&G at Ascot show this, as well as countless times on the A/W and Turf throughout the summer. If he's holding one up on the other hand I worry, I really do. He comes too late so often. That said we all know the risks and if you're honest he's still one of the best. Watch any other jockeys every move and they make a lot more mistakes than him, that's why he still gets top rides.

i swear that if he had been ridden by kinane then hawk wing would have destroyed rock of gibraltar, instead it was jamie spencer and he cost him the race with a crap ride

It's incredible to think that the Rock won all those grp 1s and, as can clearly be seen here, he wasn't even the best 3yo miler in his yard

this race was won by kinane, just because he made rock of gibraltar run some seconds before hawk wings' jockey

Johnny Murtagh rode him. Michael Kinane was suspended. I think if he wasnt he would have rode Hawk Wing as he was heavily favored in the betting market.
