Specifically, what I find valuable about this story, is it demonstrates the many levels of what happens and what it means to have the Spiritual Master find you. The initial discovery of the Guru is an act of Grace and inherent in that Grace is tactile transmission. a non-local, non linear phenomena occurs, when the film is lost and Adi Da's film manifests to fill the gap, and in that occurrence a primal recognition happens. A true Seeing happens, a karmic relationship is instantly recognized.
