Akselly: Poor country doesn´t mean bad culture...the worst music i ever heard was coming from the richiest countries, where the music industry is contaminating the genuine art for the value of money...a process which is not happening in these poor countries just because the fact of not having the money to get corrupted by it.... just think about it :)

i love this group more
"Tinariwen" is the plural of "Ténéré" and the word "Ténéré" means desert but not only desert, also "country" or "countryside" the group has being together since 1979 and were living in Tamanrasset in the south of algeria.then after a complex sequence of events they came back to mali to fight a rebellion in 1990.
