  • How do you stop yourself being so hungry on vegan diet? Do you eat nuts with everything?

  • @drcldrcl Doesnt matter what diet one eats. Carbs MUST be sufficient or hunger ensues. Why do people eat so much chocolate and ice cream? Cos they dont get enough carbs from fruit.

  • Harley, why would you recommend that anyone load up on grains and nightshades to get their carbs(7:26)? I've done a fair amount of research on the subject and found that grains(pasta,rice), legumes, meat, dairy, and nightshades(potatoes) contain a lot of lectins(for a quick rundown on lectins visit krispin.com/lectin.html). not all varieties of lectins are particularly harmful to everyone, but "loading up" could have some hazardous effects. Fruit is the ONLY option!

  • @jcollins519 Carb sufficiency is WAY more important than carb choice. Ie: Give a glucose exhausted person some GMO HFCS and they will bounce back from the dead.

    Loading up on cooked starch is good for health if the person is faced with carb insufficiency. I agree though, fruit is king.

    I want to teach people 'back up foods' cos too many fruitarian folk end up at McDondald's eating burgers and shakes.

  • "Soy is great" Rider? You have officially lost the plot. Don't eat soy folks. It's not human food. Do your own research. Rider may have something that works for him at this young age, but if you can't do fruit all day and get into soy and other grains, you're going to fall apart eventually. And feel like shit in the meantime. The dangers of soy are well known at this point and Rider you've got to get up to speed on the latest research now that you have this following.   • @rawreen I lived on rice and beans. I think they are great. I just perform better on fruit. I like to give people the best option and the second best option vs them flop and go all the way back to ground zero.
