Pontiac Solstice - LED Glow

Hey man, i have a pontiac solstice also and im getting underglow kit as well but did you install it yourself or you had someone do it? cause i was gunna do it but idk where to run the wires from inside. case the box is supposed to be inside for the music right? please help me i really need help. Thank You in advance

@PSolstice25 Hey bro. I would suggest having it installed if you want the control box inside the cab. The firewall on the Solstice is nearly impossible to route the cables through unless you make a new hole. I installed mine myself and just left the control box under the hood. Its a little dangerous doing that though. If it ever gets wet then it will be destroyed.

@goofycoolguy That kit is hella nice man. I just installed that same kit on my girlfriend's car a few weeks ago. The remote stopped working the first day we had it tho so I've gotta order another one. I can't complain tho. The kits are cheap as hell for the quality that you get.

i wanna buy these but can you please tell me exactly which type this kit is? is it the single color one and what about the music mode, where does it connect to, and through an auxilary cable or what? thx

the kit I bought was the single color 4 piece set. The music mode works by a vibration sensor in the control box (nothing hooks directly the stereo). The control box can be mounted anywhere inside the car. I mounted mine on the inside of the firewall behind the dash.

Where did you mount the rear tube? Do you have the dual exhaust? I cannot find a decent place to mount the rear tube but it looks like you may have solved the problem somehow.

@timcaywood see thats what i was thinking, i was just gunna leave it outside but i figured it wouldnt be safe. I saw where the fire wall was and yeah your right i couldnt put anything through it. Well thank you anyways! one last question sorry, where did you hook up your main power source? just straight up to the battery or something?
