Lighted Nock Test: Firenock vs Nockturnal

Each of these nocks has it's advantages and disadvantages. The Nockturnal is cheaper without sacrificing reliability, but the battery cannot be replaced and turning it off can be a challenge with poor eyesight. The Firenock is a little pricier and heavier, but the battery is replaceable, the LED is a bit brighter, and deactivation is simple.

man first off great shooting and thanks for the review but I have a question, i have a 2010 matrix and for some reason it is louder than yours and i was wondering if you have a after market sts on yours, thanks

@chriswest03 chris take a look at my video of me shooting 80 yards and you can see it is load in that video. the string silencers that come on the bow are crap if you still have them on whiech I dought because that dont last long, replace them with the regular rubber string silencers or sometimes called cat whiskers makes a bid diferance.

I new to bowhunting also lumnocks didn't like give nockturnal Nock a try they have a reset switch to turn them off

And they don't came on until after release, and appear to be brighter! U get them at Academy
