Introducing OR Movement

The OR Movement was created in 2000 by the four founders of Sansana, a communal settlement in the northern Negev. Realizing the strategic importance of the Negev and Galilee to Israel's future prosperity, the four decided to dedicate their lives to developing and populating these two regions. They, therefore, set up an organization that would enable every Israeli and Jew to share in pursuing the Zionist vision: to continue building the State of Israel. Thus far, OR has established 6 new Negev and Galilee communities; it is also active in expanding dozens of existing ones. Our main goal is to work with various government ministries, local Authorities and other organizations in order to settle 100,000 people in these two areas over the next five years.
