Youre running around finding specimens the size of your hand, all I ever find is gems the size of pebbels.
Whats the secret, dig deep and look for pockets with a crowbar?

You make me crazy!!! For 10 years now I am digging minerals in the quarries, woods and on old dumps in Saxony/Germany. But I never ever found any quartz comparing to these in matters of quality! Just stunning...

@diggindooba You are so right! My daughter went up there with her 4-H Teen council group last month (we live an hour away) and came home with almost $200 worth of Herks.

You will find small ones in the dirt layer. Start moving rock. The more you move, the more chance of a big pocket. Once you get a couple you will see where the next one may be. Its a lot of hard work & takes awhile. I go for a week at a time & work about 10 hours a day at it. One week got 6 pockets. Sometimes get nothing!!

They are not diamonds, they are quartz crystals that are so clear they look like diamonds, so they were called diamonds.

Yes, you keep everything you find here. The owners are very cool. Other places have limits on tools etc.

@chicharito0914 youtube made me remove the music thats why it is silent. I dont usually notice enhydros until I get home. I have a few.
