LEXION 595R with C516, 16 row corn head, harvesting at the Farm Progress Show 2009. The moisture was 40% avg. and the LEXION led the pack in lowest grain loss at 4-5 kernels/sq. ft. This equates out to about 0.2% loss.

  • arnt u suppose to wait till the corn is brown?

  • Typically yes, but the show must go on... green corn or brown corn. This became a true test for the combines in their performance, capacity, and overall capabilities since harvesting such high moisture corn can be considered virtually impossible to harvest.

  • you can almost see the water runnin out the back ! hope they plan on storin that corn in a AO Smith silo

  • If the corn was fully ripe she should be well able for 18 or 20 rows then ??

Of course the demo model would be tweaked a bit ;-)

  • @CRQ5508 i think yes it is cuz if there is mud that challenger wouldn`t have enough grip to drive trough muddy field
