Sigh...art theives are a menace that needs to be stopped. I, personally, have never had my art stolen (probably 'cause I only have 6 deviations up) but I worry for my friend, who is very talented. These slimy creatures lurk everywhere, and I don't want my work or her's stolen. So unoriginal, if you people can't draw, then DON'T GO ON DEVIANTART. If you're not so good, it gives you an inferiority complex that could drive you to art theft. I've never stolen, but I don't know about other people.

@Mizabella1234 i think what he means is taking an actual picture and chaning only the colors in the picture, and i think also with lineart; if you take lineart and color it without giving credit to the artist who drew the lineart or saying the lineart wasn't yours, then that is also art theft.

me personally. Don't care that much for art thieves. Because more then likely their going to get caught. Like I will do nothing, because more then likely other people will get that person and be like "YOU STOLE". My probably is ppl taking my art and selling it. I think the only way you can get sued is if they sell it. But I agree with you though.

By recolors do you mean coloring linearts? or do you just mean taking already colored images and coloring them over?
