David is a Scottish American singer-songwriter from Edinburgh. He broke onto the folk scene in 2006 with his songs that, whilst contemporary, singer-songwriters original output blended with traditional material. His strong, catchy melodies and commitment to social issues make his music both accessible and meaningful.

David won the Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections 2006. David's song One Hell of a Ride won the Burnsong 2007 songwriting competition.

Yeah david has a distinctive voice went to see him twice at last years Edinburgh fringe in "The Royal Oak Bar"a very nice person too signed cds had time to talk to everyone. we had a long chat regarding his material If david comes to the Fringe this year i'll give him another visit .Glad you enjoyed david
