are you still using a fist generation Iphone?? How is the 3G coverage with local provider?

@RealSkyDiver2 Yeah I'm still plugging away with my old 1st gen phone until the iPhone 4 comes to Thailand. I've heard that 3G coverage is available in the city of Bangkok but it's not as fast as Western 3G. Outside Bangkok you're on EDGE.

@allclassics The iPhone is officially sold by True but since it is unlocked here you can use it with any other carrier. I've used mine with AIS since I got it and never had any problems. Call reception is good, data transfer and rates are good, no complaints from me.
