New 2010 arm design. All the wires can be hidden inside the bones. All the exposed metal and servo parts will be painted flat black to help camouflage them.

@buckaneerdude I haven't had a problem, but be sure to use a metal gear servo for the top servo that faces down. The screw that holds the horn in on a metal gear servo is a machine screw that goes into metal threads. Standard servos have a pointed screw that goes into plastic and is not as secure. I have been using 6 of these arms now for the better part of 2 years and have not had any issues with that.

Good job, the servos must be very strong and expensive... what kind of price are you looking at for something like this?

@TechniciansofTerror Not really. The shoulder servo is a HiTec HS-805BB that goes for about $40.00. The one on tyop and at the elbow are Tower Pro 995MG servos which can be bought all over ebay for about $10.00 a piece.

Hey HB, in looking at how you have this assembled I have to wonder about the stress on the small bolt in the servo at the top of everything. The movement is great and I think I might copy from your design. I was thinking though about trying to build a bracket where the servo for horizontal arm movement mounted with that servo in an upright position to eliminate some of the stress on that servo arm. With Sindy and friends, did you have any trouble with that little bolt or that servo?
