  • @eidotevil And I forgot to mention those 70's, full of talent as well.

  • @eidotevil Im not stating that being older makes you more talented. Im trying to say that for what we are seeing, technological advance is inversely proportional to a decrease in talent. Its happening both in movies and in music. Todays music groups do not resist a comparison with the musicians of the 50, 60, 80 or 90s. The same is happening in techno music: Old School kept most of the talent. You can hear it in this track right here. This is ART, my friend, not only rhythm and effects.

  • @omenow

Well, to be truthful, no, being older does not make you talented. Yes, there are many amazing oldschool musicians, and I respect them all, but you can't deny that in our time, talent is simply manifested in a different way. You could call it evolution. They can give you a clearer image of what they want to say, with all the variety of sounds they can now produce.

Anyway, I still love this kinda stuff. I was like just 4 when they made this.

  • @eidotevil The same has happened in cinema, my friend. With all the new digital effects and the highly improved post-production, the final result is more spectacular, but talent has proportionally decreased. And, believe me, talent is what really counts. Just this song has more endowment that all the music made today, with all those sampling and new music Technologies that you speak about.
