The Charlottesville Community Players present the first staged reading of a new play that explores the inside story of Rebecca Black and her hit song, "Friday". Watch how she went from scared little girl to scared little girl on the Internet in the blink of an eye.

  • OK, I know the guy in the gray-and-white striped shirt and the guy in the back seat (Scribbles!) are in other shows by you guys, but how about the other people. Have they been in Waldo or Jefferson?

  • @senrivlin Good find on Sam and Ryan! Yup, the other cast members were also all in "Musical: The Online Musical" (along with Sam and Ryan as well!) -- the narrator (Daniel Prillaman) played Slippery Steve, Rebecca Black (Ali Stoner) played Gwenny, Mr. Black (Adam Smith) played Lord Volcano and Mrs. Black (Leah Davis) played Mrs. Decker. If you haven't had a chance to watch the show yet, you should check it out, it was entirely interactive and its our first show we did online!

  • @TheOnlineMusical Quick response! What about from Where's Waldo or Thomas Jefferson: The Musical (which, may I say, are two of the greatest internet videos of all time)

  • @senrivlin Haha, thanks! The only crossovers here are the two boys in the car: Ryan Campbell (Scribbles in Waldo) and Sam Reeder (George Washington in Thomas Jefferson) and Mr. Black, played by Adam Smith (John Adams in TJ). Woot woot!

  • @filibusterfirework74 no, no you're not :)

  • oh yeah, CLEARLY luke is REALLY cool with his backwards cap and spiderman backpack...

  • @TheOnlineMusical Frankly, I don't wish to seem incompetent but if you could give me a basic summary of what the parts of this play mean I would highly appreciate it. I'd also like to say that I absolutely love the creativeness of this play, the narrator and the background music, I loved how it all fits together however, I have managed to somewhat establish what they mean to me, it's just I'd like to know it's true meaning to compare that to what I'd been thinking.

  • Phenomenal!!!!! I loved it... So short yet amazing.

  • thumbs up if you saw the girl that didn't stop texting :D
