Digital Devil Saga: Versus Demi-fiend

This boss is the main protagonist from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, known as Demi-fiend or Hitoshura. In DDS, he's the hardest optional boss you face in a Clear Data.

One of the hardest bosses in RPG history, you don't stand a snowflake's chance in hell unless you have the ultimate level 99 party with the best skills, along with stat-boosting items. Not only does this fight require a complex strategy, but you need the luck of the Irish to survive this onslaught.

Part 1: Intro (0:00-1:47)
Part 2: Surviving Gaea Rage* (1:47-3:27)
Part 3: "Stun Locking" Pixie and Arahabaki (3:27-4:37)
Part 4: Finishing Demi-fiend off (4:37-5:42)

*I'm supposed to get hit by Dormina and use Null Sleep to avoid Gaea Rage, but luckily I was able to get a Close Call instead.

I used the infamous "Red Star" strategy.

To really drive the notion home, in Nocturne Javelin Rain, Heat Wave, and Gaea Rage weren't even very good attacks. And his crew of demons isn't exactly top-notch either. He COULD be pelting you with Freikugel and Spiral Viper and summoning Metatron, Beelzebub, and Shiva, but you're not worth the effort. And even if you manage to beat him, he just leaves behind a note taunting you. You're just nowhere near his level.

Because thats monsters have the necesary skills to make this battle so hard, all monsters that he summons makes the perfect support team. Physical attacks, fatal attacks, ailments, magic attacks and support skills (kajas). Its hard but not impossible. "Red Star" strategy hehehe, yeap, infamous. I prefer the normal battle strategy.

That video is cutting ;), but still respect, with satan the hardest enemys ever, by this is judge a joke, DDS is harder than FF or other RPGs, lots of harder.

No matter if you defeated him, you're just a random battle to his eyes xD

No wonder you don't get hit by Dormina if your luck is near the maximum. In this fight you'll want the luck stat to be as low as possible.
