Also, hotud (dot) org still has the original downloads and has actually expanded quite a bit.

Hmm, so that's the reason i saw no download link when i tried to get the dark eye game. What a shame... As head bloke said, "R.I.P. Home Of The Underdogs, you'll be missed."

wow. i remember when i discovered hotu, like, what, five, six years ago? lol. . . i just came to the net tonight looking for a copy of electronic arts M.U.L.E. from the 80's (i just got done trying out their new game. . . SPORE), and i though, hmmmm. . . what an odd similarity in the space premise. . . .

LOL, I heard a completely different story from the co-owner of Underdogs. He basically said she stole the site and did'nt know what she was doing so it went down.

Ummm, guys? The website is still there. The game downloads aren't, but the site still is... some what.

The truth of the Empire's fall is most disheartening. Who else can stand for truly great games long forgotten by a fast-paced society?
