She's still around. Go to Twitter and look up Fringer, that's her account name.

She mentioned awhile back that HOTD went down because the webhost went bankrupt or something like that.

Also, hotud (dot) org still has the original downloads and has actually expanded quite a bit.

wow. i remember when i discovered hotu, like, what, five, six years ago? lol. . . i just came to the net tonight looking for a copy of electronic arts M.U.L.E. from the 80's (i just got done trying out their new game. . . SPORE), and i though, hmmmm. . . what an odd similarity in the space premise. . . .

LOL, I heard a completely different story from the co-owner of Underdogs. He basically said she stole the site and did'nt know what she was doing so it went down.
