GH3-The Way It Ends (TWiE) PASSED Expert w/ a 360 controller

This is a video of me passing The Way It Ends (the hardest song in gh3 to pass with a controller) with an xbox controller on Expert difficulty.

In case you aren't impressed, keep in mind that There is only a small handful of people that has done this before.

during the video my arms get tired, so there are a few spots where I stop and rest for a bit. I'm not a n00b that plays parts with a controller and parts with a guitar, the whole video was played with a controller.


I have passed this before, but this was the first time I was lucky enough to get it on video.

I only got 160k points, but I will try to improve that.

why does ur red button keep going i sense a turbo controller mod or some mod cause u lose multi x when u over push button i call hax

If you know about playing with the controller, you'll know that only the "highest" button is checked for on every tap, which means that when a series of fast yellow notes come up, I can hold down the yellow button and rapidly tap the red and green button on the controller and it will register each tap as hitting the yellow note. I tap the red button sometimes when there are fast yellows because I can tap the red button faster/better than the yellow one, however I don't have very good control ove

well, lets talk then, because i passed TTFAF waaaaay before I passed this. TTFAF was like my first big video. look it up on my channel. i think I have like 3 videos of that song.....

If you can tap the fingers fast this is quite an easy song to beat w/ controller. I mean with TDWDTG you actually have to move them everywhere, but still non the less I couldn't do this. Great job.

You would be amazed at how much easier it is to do solo sections (like dtwdtg solos) on the controller than fast same note tapping in this song. this song is easily the hardest one in the game to pass with controller.
