Travis demonstrates how to replace a water pump seal on a KTM RFS motor. He did not have his coffee on this morning so the beginning is a little rough, but overall a good demonstration

  • great video, but can any one tell me if it works for the 2000 model ? the carrier is slightly different, no holes but i have drilled and tapped 2 3mm holes, but cant pull the bugger out! any one help?

  • This demonstration does not apply to a stock 2000 model because the carrier is an older design. You will have to do a few extra steps to replace the seals on that model but the good news is you can update your seals/carrier to one like in this demonstration so that future seal changes will be this easy. For more details or if you need an updated carrier for your bike call me at the shop, 661-424-1800.

  • Does this apply for the 02 ktm sx520? how much are you selling these kits for and how can i order it? this is for my brothers bike that has just started leaking from the weep hole. also i was told this is a common problem with these bikes, is there a way to make it not so common lol. any input would be greatly appreciated!!

  • how do you get the waschers in ?

  • Very good thank you for your help im doing mine tomorrow

  • dont put the last o-ring in the hole. its easier to just get it on before you push it in.

  • poor audio

  • Very very helpful! Many thank's! Just one question, my '04 525 EXC leaks oil through that hole. Do I have to do the same as you do on this video? Or do I have to change any seal ring? Thank you very much!

  • great video, very detailed, thanx. one question though. is this basicly the same procedure for a 02 rm85? just wondering because i have to do it to mine, but cant find a video for it. thank you.

  • cool, this video helped me a lot, I just changed the seals and there no more leaking on my KTM 450 SX 2004 , THANKS a lot dude !!!!
