3. Mystery- One Among The Living
4. The Last Void- State Of Mind
5. District 97- Hybrid Child

7. The Divine Baze Orchestra- Dead But Dreaming
8. Clouds On Strings- For You, For Me, For The Sake Of A Name*
9. Star One- Victims Of The Modern Age

*Technically came out 12/27/09, but close enough. :)

-Nine Stones Close- Traces
-Mind Portal- 1/1
-Empty Tremor- Iridium
-Flow and Mingos -- Living In Time
-Ciccada- A Child In The Mirror
-Moon Safari- Lover's End

2011 looks very promising indeed with releases from the likes of Dream Theater, Rush (or is it 2012 for that one?), Symphony X, Phideaux, Yes, Wobbler, Pallas, Jolly, Beardfish, Echolyn, Morse/Portnoy and many more.

A big thank you goes out to all of these great musicians who continue to pump out such superb albums. Long live Progressive Rock/Metal!

  • Hey glad to see the Top 10 back for another year!!

Looks like we might have some Ritual for the 2011 Top 10!!

  • @MawcDrums I forgot about Ritual's forthcoming album. Looking forward to it.

  • good list, but "For Me For you, For the sake of a name" wasn´t release in 2009?

  • @OurBrainHurtsALot It was released 12/27/09 (as I mentioned in the comments). Close enough to 2010 I guess. :) These guys definitely deserve the publicity for this fine album.
