@boojiray - Micheal Delugg had mixed almost every music performance on Letterman since his morning show until the 2001 or so. He would have mixed this. This case is the opposite of garbage in, garbage out.

I had to come over and watch this today after watching Peter Gabriel on David Letterman performing the same song 17 years later (November 9, 2011). This time with a 46 piece orchestra. Still making GREAT music after all these years. I hope to see last night's performance on Youtube soon.

This is without a doubt 1994. He was promoting the live album "Secret World Live" (you can see Dave hold it up at the very beginning of the clip). I taped this live and the other things on the tape were from 94. I'm stoked so many people have enjoyed seeing this old video.
