The Countdown to Victory Starts with CSI Bethlehem for the Holidays!

To each of you who contacted me to give assistance and comfort, to those that came forward to push and root us on, and to all the wonderful Citizens of El Segundo

I put this piece together to celebrate our new company's opening as we navigate the mean and awful obstacles thrown down before us by others. The creation of The New El Segundo Playhouse will help The Civic Light Opera reach its goals and as planned, will create a faster track to our inevitable success at presenting our well reviewed, award winning, Broadway Shows in the immediate future.

Not sitting on or ringing our hands, not standing to the side. My staff, friends, board members and community leaders are all working for free. They are donating services to help this new venue reach success as fast as possible. I am humbled by all who came forward to help.

But more exciting is the further evidence of our success. We are now reaching the latter part of our ten step plan to achieve full costumer satisfaction and investor compensation. As we complete the sixth step of this war room like plan, we are about to go right into lucky number seven.

Please enjoy this video theatre anthem and please support this new venue. Most of all, please come walk down our perfect "Main Street" (the actual name) and enjoy the restaurants and shops that are walking distances from The New El Segundo Playhouse. Spend a day or evening and feel the original heart of South Bay we all grew up to love and miss so much. It's actually still alive - beating and thriving with community spirit with open arms and a big beach city heart.

I know they call El Segundo "Mayberry", which I love and can see why they do, but secretly, to me, it feels like Manhattan Beach in the early 1970s. Front doors open, screen doors slamming, kids flying down on there bicycles as if they are weightless and moms not texting but yelling out names of children announcing dinner on the beautiful tree lined streets as everyone has time to say hello. We are honored a place has been made for us in this real time sanctuary like city.

ALRIGHT ...Ok, so you think I'm going overboard...how about this at intermission, when I go outside to get some air, I'll be looking at a big green stunning park with massive trees and a 1920s Gazebo. Not a blinding plastic sign with a chicken or a hamburger on it or gas prices all lovingly festooned with asphalt with those towering sodium mercury vapor lights that gives everything that lush East German Soviet occupied hopeless cold glow. LOL!

Come see our new home, I'm sure you will agree and see this is more than just a very special place. I have really discovered something that I was told was gone forever. Thank you El Segundo for giving me back the home I miss - the one we all grew up in...or the one we all wish for.
