I got an idea, do the dark Prince from Prince of Persia T2T.

it seems simple really, just use Usurper suit and Astaroth's Executioner Chest Plate and some leather boots all rendered in black. for the facial, face #1, gel back hair style in black, pale skin, white eyeblows, black eyes, and use Voldo's Class and there you go.

I dont really know how to teach people, just... find a character you want to make, find equipment that you think fits it and make it. other than that dunno how to explain xD sry.

first step you need to be devoted to making a character! Secondly you need to look up the characters image on google and use it to help make your chara for example i made a jack of blades and this was how>>>> made a rough (a fairly good design) then looked up the image on the internet and found some thing that needed changed like he had nightmare greaves on but his leggings had points on the sides so i used paladin greaves ect stuff like that. then find a voice style and other stuff that matches
