  • Your playing is very expressive. The instrument appears to be of Franco-Flemish origen, possibly by Pascal Taskin (ca 1779).

  • No. It's a Mietke (german) copy

    Thanks for watching

  • Sorry Musiclover, but are you a famous harpsichord player?? I think so, I'm right?

  • No, I am not famous at all ;-)

I just wish to make most peoples know the beauty of this Music. Thanks for watching.

  • I'll try, there are 3 ranks of strings, 2 eight foot and 1 four foot. The four sounds an octave higher than either eight foot. The two key boards. Each 8 foot is plucked at a slightly different place on the string, so they sound different and may also be different types of strings. The two key boards can be couple for different sound effects.

  • Nice. The trickiest thing about this piece is to make it sound like a highly syncopated 3/2 dance, not a 6/4... Certainly the most interesting piece of the set.

  • @musiclover63 And you succeed in doing so!
