  • Pity the camera is not as fast as the vertical launches, because the climb is awesome to watch.

  • My old camera... LOok forward to filming future events with my canon hv30.

  • Diana -

That looked like a fun day ;-)

  • Brian,

  • I thought I had seen all the best model airplane videos, but then I found yours. And let me just tell you, and I really mean this now, your video has changed my life. Like, to the extreme. For the best. And the music was just the cherry on top of an already highly calorific piece of model airplane cake. Anyhow, I'm starting to ramble now, so let me just say: I love you man. I love you from the bottom of my model airplane shaped heart.

    Hugs and kisses,

Your aviator friend from across the pond.

  • The sound of these little engines is much more attractive than this terrible, way-overused song. This video shoudl be about free flight airplanes, not an attempt to make a cool video.

  • Opinion, that is all.

  • Well, instead of getting to hear the engines and the people and all, we have to listen to some idiots idea of good backround music. Why do people do that? It ruins the video. This is about the airplane, not your silly desire to make a movie.

  • @aeomaster32 using too much zoom at launch makes it hard to follow the climb.Best to zoom in while the model is climbing

  • Thanks for the video. Takes me back to my early teens in the '60s. I flew Stardusters, straight, X, 350 and the 900. Awesome models. Hand cranking Cox .049/.051 on crankcase pressure with a bored out venturi, that wasn't easy. Neither was hand cranking the K&B 40 on crankcase pressure. Builds character doing that. I still have all my parts though there are scars to show what not to do.

    Thanks again for showing this.

  • RC is easy, i know cause i picked it up last summer,

Now you try and get a 4 minute flight out of a vintage wakefield.
