Wow, first time I've heard a song in Hakka dispite speaking it all the time at home. Not quite what I was expecting if I'm honest.

@cygnetomega this isn't mandarin though, it's hakka or taiwanese. mostly only elders or rural villages of Taiwan speak it now

@noisesionoise - You can't deny that Mandarin sounds cooler than most dialects though right? It's like Mandarin removes all the awkward parts. It's less flexible sounding but cooler. Dialects sound crude and are linked to bad reputation sometimes, but you can certainly keep it alive and be proud of it.

Just gave up cigarettes, guess no more smoking whilst drinking tea/beer. On another note, I had no idea there are Hakka songs, im shocked lol.
Also his accent is hard for me to understand, my family are native Hakka speakers from China and I guess this guy is Malay Chinese?

Marvellous,despite of reserving the Hakka dialect able to raise the awareness of public,with one stone he can kill two birds.Eventhough I am a Cantonese,I am still keen on learning Hakka dialect.
