A one day workshop on "Visual Culture, Photography and Ethics" was organised at Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, on 24 September 2011 between 10.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Juby John Eipe, University of Pondicherry, and was organised by Dr. Rayson K. Alex, Faculty, Department of English, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur. The objectives of the workshop were to introduce photography, to equip the students to handle still-cameras, systematically and aesthetically create photo essay and to deliberate them the ethics of media and fieldwork.
