  • Hey Rick your name rhymes with .... :)

  • @BreathodliD LOL

  • @tecnolover2642 A 5 must be building an entire house by yourself then hahaha

  • Ive found that its alot easier to use ez hang brackets instead of shims. It speeds up the process so much its unreal.

  • Anyway, if you insist on installing a door yourself, you should google TruTech or Dorplex installation instructions. They're much more in depth (much better doors, as well). Dorplex would be my choice.

  • Pretty bad instructions. I install doors and this doesn't explain the little details. Your drip should be installed underneath the house-wrap because rain gets in behind siding, You should be using spray foam instead of fiberglass insulation. Also, it's not a good idea to use finishing nails to secure a door.

  • This is the stupidest instructions ever. Don't listen to these dumb fucks.

  • @tecnolover2642 It isn't that difficult.

  • @ YuiTeub I went to three different home depot stores and none of them had a drip cap that was painted like shown in this video. The only thing they had was a water table flashing that was made out of galvanized material. Do you have an item number or link to the page online for painted drip caps?

  • @merlemagic It's there. Usually in the soffit area.
