Mi akordas. Esperanto estas bona, interesa, fleksibla, belsona kaj tre facila lingvo. Kial la mondo ne volas gxin? Mi ne scias.

@TheK54 Who have told you to raise a child speaking Esperanto only?Esperanto was created to be a seconde language of all people and nations of the world!A common universal language. You teache your child Esperanto as a second language.

If the goal is for easy intercommunication between peoples of different languages. Just teach sign language,
Born in Germany now live in US and can find way more people to converse with in those languages. 2 million worldwide? What are my chances of walking up to someone who does not speak English in lets say even Spain who speaks this language. Not good I suspect.
I guess it is a good hobby if you need one. I will just use a pocket translator

Esperanto is logical and easy to learn for those of us who have an Indoeuropean language as our mother tongue. Especially if that Indoeuropean language is from either the Romance or Germanic group.
The reason that Esperanto or any other artificially created language (Ido, Volapuk) have not got fire and been adopted as the neutral inter language is the issue of culture.
There is no culture attached to Esperanto. Human beings are attracted to a language owing to the culture behind it.

Why don't ya'll just get yer butts in gear and learn English,,,the language of the angels? (Sorry, my Greek friends.)

No thanks I'll just stick to English.

Gratulojn pro la kreado, mi certe ĝuas Lernu-n, kaj ĉiam uzas sian vortaron : )
Saluton el Bonaero, Argentino.
The use of a 2nd neutral language in the near future is inevitable. We need to understand each other all over the globe. (Is it THAT difficult to understand?)

I like this language and hope more people will speak it, from the sound of it it's similar to latin, spanish, portugese, italian and romanian. Actually there are hundreds of millions who could learn it very quickly.

You can be raised learning two separate languages and still be native to both. There are quite a few Bilingual students at my school that have had that happen.
I plan to teach my kid Esperanto as a just in case thing as (s)he's growing up.

it seems to be right. but the question who is going to do it? also who is going to raise a child speaking esperanto only !!! he or she will be destroyed if he or she speaks only esperanto
It was just on bbc news about this language but I didn't catch where it is spoken. Can anyone tell me please.

Since Esperanto is an international language, it's spoken all over the world, not in just specific location or country.
