Pooyan (Atari 800XL)

The Atari 800XL conversion of Konami's arcade game, Pooyan. A little of the game's colour is lost in the port, and for some reason the creatures at the bottom of your cliff, which I believe were ducks in the original, seem to have been replaced by skeletons. Odd. When I was a kid, I had an LCD game called Vampire, and it took me a while to realise that it was essentially a clone of Pooyan. Only, due to the constraints of being an LCD game, it was rubbish.

Was this a cart or disk release?

This was a disk image running in an emulator. I initially had it on cassette, though, and I don't think there was a cartridge version.
