Reedsburg Costa Rica Skateboard

While a group of Reedsburg Area High School Students were traveling in Costa Rica they were encouraged to use as many opportunities as possible to practice Spanish and meet the locals. On a walk into a small town on the Central Pacific Coast we encountered a group of skateboarders who we were able to spend some time with. One particular boy let some of the Reedsburg kids use his skateboard. After we left, the kids decided that we should go to a skate shop and build the boy a new board for his kindness and for welcoming us into his group. After we all donated some money and part selections were made by our experts we were able to surprise him.
